Capable of analyzing both anionic and cationic compounds simultaneously

Utilizes three types of packing materials (SS-C18, SM-C18, SW-C18) based on ion-exchange strength

Enables retention and separation of highly polar compounds

Improves separation compared to general ODS columns

LC-MS compatible without the need for ion-pair reagents

This column addresses the challenge of retaining ionizable highly polar substances that were traditionally problematic with ODS columns, without requiring the addition of ion-pair reagents. Moreover, it facilitates separation of both anionic and cationic compounds in a single column.

Designed to maintain fundamental hydrophobicity similar to traditional ODS, it allows for analysis conditions to be evaluated in comparison with a reference column (Unison UK-C18).
